Dear Settlers,
The migration of the following game worlds will take place soon: United States of America.
While they are being migrated, these game worlds and their website will be temporarily unavailable. Afterwards, the forum will remain deactivated for a short time.
This is the current plan, although it may be subject to short-term changes due to various dependencies!

19.11.2025Migration of the Payment System
Dear Settlers,
We have reached another milestone in the migration process of The Settlers Online. Starting today, we will gradually begin integrating The Settlers Online into our payment system.
Of course, we will proceed carefully and monitor every step on the way. We hope that you will not notice much of the transition itself and that gameplay will not be affected. Our plan is to have all countries transferred to our payment system by the end of November.
The country that we will start with today is Greece. For this reason, it is possible that it might temporarily not be possible to make any purchases from Greece in the Shop.
What will change?
Actually, not much. The layout will look very similar to the current one. We are convinced that you will get used to it quickly. You will find the shop in the same place on the website as before, and you will be guided through the payment process step-by-step, just as it is now, too.
All previously available payment methods will remain available. Local payment options may be found under aggregators such as Adyen, Paymentwall, and Xsolla.
We will keep you updated when the payment system is migrated for each country.

18.11.2025Downtime for Maintenance (done)
Dear Settlers,
On Wednesday, November 19, we will perform technical maintenance between 10:00 and 11:00. During this time, the game will not be accessible.
Unfortunately, we discovered that the nightly system restart intended to stabilize the chat service has caused some unexpected negative side effects. Therefore, we will revert this change during the maintenance and make several adjustments to the chat service. Afterwards, the chat should function as usual while remaining reliably available.

You should now remain logged in for at least 7 days without having to enter your password again, provided you do not delete your browser cookies.

12.11.2025Extension of Halloween Event
Dear Settlers,
At the start of the Halloween Event, several issues related to the migration occurred on the German and English game worlds. While we were able to address these problems in a timely manner, we are aware of the impact they had on your game experience during the first days of the event.
Therefore, we will extend the Halloween Event for all German and English (UK) game worlds until November 23, 22:00 CET. Furthermore, the extension will also apply to the Czech game world that has not yet been migrated, since noticeable connection issues occurred there as well.
This means that the removal phase for these worlds will only start at that time. The date of the complete deactivation is still scheduled for November 30, 09:00 CET.

11.11.2025Problems with the chat (Maintenance done)
Dear Settlers,
To address the ongoing issues with the chat, there will be brief maintenance work on the chat service over the course of the morning today. For this reason, chats on individual worlds may be temporarily unavailable.
Afterwards, the chats should then function reliably.
Starting today, we will conduct daily maintenance for the chat service between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. During this time frame, the chat will be temporarily unavailable for a few minutes.

This maintenance is necessary to resolve issues related to recurring login prompts.

03.11.2025Downtime for Maintenance (done)
Dear Settlers,
Due to technical maintenance on already migrated servers, these game worlds will be unavailable for about an hour on Tuesday, November 4.
We are releasing a number of adjustments to further address the issues from last week and improve your gameplay experience.
This includes measures to stabilise login, game sessions, and chat, as well as to reduce the increased number of zone crashes. In addition, the login via Ubisoft Connect should then stay active for a longer time, unless browser cookies are deleted regularly or deliberately.
We have also identified the cause of missing generals and will implement a fix. Generals that already went missing should have found their way back home by now. If you are still missing generals, please contact our customer support via email: [email protected].
Maintenance:
- Day: Tuesday, November 4
- Game Worlds: Already migrated game worlds (UK, DE, FR, NL, IT, RO, GR)
- Start: ~ 09:00 CET
- End: ~ 10:00 CET
- Adventures & Premium: Times will be extended
The following issues will also be addressed:
- The size of the Mountain Clan Colossus was increased to 4x4 by mistake with its last adjustment. The size will be reduced to 3x3 again so it should no longer block productions nearby.
- Some players were not able to purchase the Leathery Box at the merchant due to limits not being adjusted properly. This will be fixed so that they should able to buy the bundle.
