Notice Regarding Bug Abuse
Dear Settlers,
The release of Comfort Update #1 led to the unexpected appearance of a few bugs, some of which affected the Guild Market. For a short time, one of these bugs could be exploited to gain an unfair in-game advantage.
We want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we not only consider abusing bugs in this manner a violation of the rules, but also neglecting to inform the developers about discovered bugs immediately.
In this case, we have negated any advantages gained by the exploit of bugs during the second downtime on September 30 in addition to quickly solving the issue itself. We reserve the right to punish any players, who intentionally exploit bugs and do so on a large scale, in order to guarantee fairness for all players.
We are currently working on a package of fixes for other issues that made their way into the game during the recent update. We would like to thank all players, who are contributing to our efforts to improve The Settlers Online for the entire community.
If you are interested, you can find more information on our bug fixing process on the forum.

Halloween Event: Preview
Dear Settlers,
We are inviting you to the dress rehearsal for the Halloween Event 2026 over on the test server in the coming week.
Here is a quick look at what you can expect to find in the next event.
Alchemists are cooking up potent formulas in the Laboratory of Questionable Experiments with the purpose of accelerating your mining operations. Miners have testified that the rocks they are hitting all day somehow appear to be softer thanks to these concoctions. The most potent elixirs even uncover previously hidden mineral caches to allow mining operations to keep going on for longer. Our research has shown a probability of 98% for these stories not being mere hallucinations triggered by toxic fumes.
Some aspiring geologists have been so taken by these developments that they now style themselves Alchemical Geologists. They require more time to find deposits, but a thorough treatment with alchemical essences allows miners to excavate these discoveries faster than would normally be the case. Sometimes these mad geniuses even manage to transmute some of the discovered metals into Gold Ore – a process usually accompanied by crazy cackles that echo in the mountain valleys.
The old ladies in the Witch Coven appear to be motivated by the rivalry with these alchemists, throwing themselves into the creation of a new Dark Ritual – even if that unleashes a new Curse on the world. First, though, these so-called bakers require a bit more room to store all those additional ingredients.
Understandably, not everyone is comfortable with these developments, so the emigration queue at the Harbor is getting longer and longer. Fortunately, the long awaited agenda for infrastructure week has finally turned up and contains plans for an expansion of the Harbor.
In addition to that, Bell Buoys will be placed along the coast to speed up ship traffic and thereby increase the Harbor's production speed.
The event calendar is all treat, no trick: Among other things, a Weathered Notebook, a Cursed Tower, a Witches' Effigy, and Lord Dracul await you. Rounding out this edition of the Halloween Event are a handful of fresh achievements and a spooky, animated skin for the Harbor.

Event start: October 26, 10:00 CET |
We will put out an announcement once the event is live on the test server and you can try out the new content for yourself. You can find additional details on what is to come on the forum.

Account Migration to Become Obligatory in One Day
Dear Settlers,
Tomorrow, on Wednesday, September 23, the transition from Ubisoft Connect to our independent The Settlers Online account system will become obligatory. Please note that starting with this deadline it will only be possible to access TSO with a migrated account. If you attempt to log in without having migrated your account, you must complete the transition process in order to regain access to your island.
While we will not delete any accounts in this context, we sincerely recommend you to complete the account migration process in a timely manner. As we have announced earlier this year, the connection between Ubisoft's services and TSO will be severed at some point in the future. We estimate that recovering any accounts, which have not completed the migration when that time comes, will not be a trivial matter and may therefore take a substantial amount of time. Therefore, it is much more comfortable and safe to complete the process now.
You can find a step-by-step guide on the forum. Feel free to contact our customer support in case you run into any roadblocks.
If you have already completed the migration of your account, no further action is necessary.

Mercenary Adventure Season 2026: Preview
Dear Settlers,
The Mercenary Adventure Season 2026 is going to be implemented on the test server on Wednesday, September 23. Just like its predecessors, this small event will boost a set list of adventures with a variety of bonuses and contain a shop section that provides easy access to these missions.
Additionally, the upcoming Mercenary Adventure Season will bring two new adventures to the game: "Desperate Rich" and "Sir Robin's Revenge" have long awaited their debuts, which are finally at hand.
As the name implies, we are currently planning to run the event during the ongoing year. However, these intentions may change based on the feedback we receive during this upcoming test, so we are unable to commit to a precise start date as of yet.
You can find additional information about the upcoming Mercenary Adventure Season 2026 test on the forum.

Account Migration to Become Obligatory in One Week
Dear Settlers,
As we have announced in August, the transition from Ubisoft Connect to an independent The Settlers Online account system will become obligatory during the ongoing month. To continue accessing the game, you will be required to have migrated your account starting on Wednesday, September 23.
We recommend that all Settlers, who are still using Ubisoft Connect to log into TSO, complete the transition process ahead of the deadline to avoid unnecessary stress and confusion. You will no longer be able to access the game via Ubisoft Connect after the deadline has passed, so you will have to migrate your account during your next login attempt to recover your access to the game. To do that, please follow the instructions displayed by the migration dialog, which appears on screen when you try to log in.
You can find a step-by-step guide on the forum. Feel free to contact our customer support in case you run into any roadblocks.
If you have already completed the migration of your account, no further action is necessary.

Downtime for Urgent Bug Fix (done)
Dear Settlers,

On Tuesday, September 08, the game will be temporarily unavailable for a second time due to an urgent bug fix.
- Day: Tuesday, September 08
- Game Worlds: All game worlds
- Start: ~ 15:30 CEST
- End: ~ 16:30 CEST
- Adventures & Premium: Times will be extended
Following this update, the quests to claim rewards from the Balloon Market Tribute and Smokehouse Tribute should be reset and function properly. If you have already built these structures, claim the reward once to kickstart the quests. If you have not constructed these buildings yet, the quests will start up in the usual way once construction has been completed. Additionally, any players currently being prevented from logging in due to zone errors should once again be able to access their islands.

Downtime for Bug Fixes (done)
Dear Settlers,

On Tuesday, September 08, the game will be temporarily unavailable to implement bug fixes.
- Day: Tuesday, September 08
- Game Worlds: All game worlds
- Start: ~ 09:00 CEST
- End: ~ 10:00 CEST
- Adventures & Premium: Times will be extended
Since it appears that a change to the Smokehouse Tribute and Balloon Market Tribute, which we implemented with the start of the Anniversary Event 2026, is aggravating the ongoing production stop issue with this building type that we described on Monday, August 31, we are rolling back said change. Following this update, players with functioning Smokehouse Tributes and Balloon Market Tributes will once again have to manually claim rewards they produce. The corresponding quests have been updated with fitting icons and are once again listed in the questlog, so you can check if your buildings are running as intended.
Please note that this fix does not reactivate buildings already affected by the production stop bug, prevent buildings from falling victim to it, or solve the root cause of the problem. All of this will require more time.
This update also includes a fix for the current issues with Metallurgy Knowledge. Here is how they will function going forward:
- Level 1 and Level 2 Knowledge can only be applied to the Ore Refinery while the corresponding upgrade quest is active. They will be greyed out in the star menu otherwise.
- Level 1 and Level 2 Knowledge can only be applied to the Mayor's House in exchange for Manuscripts when the Ore Refinery has been built.
- Level 1 and Level 2 Knowledge can still be traded at any time.

Information in Regards to Ongoing Issues
Dear Settlers,
We have some updates on two ongoing issues we are currently investigating.
First, the blocked Metallurgy Knowledge in your star menus. It was our intention to link the use of these rare items to the quest around the Ore Refinery's build-up to prevent their premature use on the Refinery or the Mayor's House. Unfortunately, some unforeseen complications arose in the live environment, which caused the Knowledge to become unusable regardless of the corresponding quest's status.
Rolling back this change would not alleviate the current issue, so we have to look for a clean, wholesale solution. We currently estimate that work on this will not be completed during the ongoing week, so the Knowledge will remain unusable for the moment.
Second, we are investigating an issue that causes buildings such as the Balloon Market Tribute, Smokehouse Tribute, and Celebrative Lookout to pause their production. This issue appears to be deeply rooted in the system, so we need to make thorough checks before attempting a solution in order to prevent the appearance of negative side effects such as in the issue described above. Unfortunately, our customer support is not able to provide a workable interim solution to this issue either.
We are actively working on resolving both problems and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Comfort Update #1 Is Now Available on the Test Server
Dear Settlers,
Comfort Update #1 is now available on the test server. You can find a Q&A section focusing on its contents on the forum. We invite you to share your feedback and suggestions regarding the improvements there as well.
As a reminder, Comfort Update #1 contains the following changes:
- Tavern (Level 2) and a grouping function for explorers
- Mass opening function for loot boxes
- Adjustments to the user interface in the Excelsior
Phase 1 of the test runs until Monday, August 31. Phase 2 is currently planned to start on Wednesday, September 16.
To make testing more comfortable for you, we have made some changes to the test server merchant that will be exclusive to this particular test: Whenever you purchase an explorer, you will gain ten explorers of that type at once, so please do not be alarmed at your star menu filling up faster than you are used to. Please pay attention to the notes on known issues displayed on the forum as well as the test server homepage.

Announcements From Gamescom Dev
Dear Settlers,
This afternoon, representatives of CipSoft and Ubisoft took the stage at gamescom dev, one of the gaming industry's biggest conferences, to hold a joint talk focusing on the handover of The Settlers Online, diving into its challenges and solutions for the audience.
This presentation not only marked the – albeit indirect – return of TSO to the world's most important video game convention, but also contained some news we would like to share.
The ongoing migration process from Ubisoft Connect to TSO's own account system, which has been running on a voluntary basis since March, will become obligatory over the course of September 2026. Due to Ubisoft Connect being disconnected from TSO in the near future, you will be required to possess an independent TSO account to continue playing the game.
We will post reminders regarding the migration one week and then, finally, 24 hours ahead of the deadline. You can find a guide for the process on the forum.
Additionally, the presentation provided a look at the projects our developers are currently working on. You already know that Comfort Update #1 containing a grouping function for explorers alongside other quality of life improvements is coming to the test server later this week. You are also aware since the beginning of the year that we are working on a renewed homepage for TSO.
However, we also have something in store that you did not know about just yet: We have begun with the preparations for an island expansion, which will be the focus of our efforts following the release of Comfort Update #1. We will once again count on your support and input as we work on that next step. We can not share any more details about this quite yet, but we do hope that you will look towards the horizon with excitement until then and keep having fun playing TSO.

Comfort Update #1: Preview
Dear Settlers,
The test server reopens its gates this coming Wednesday, August 26, giving you a hands-on opportunity with a package of quality of life improvements that we have been working on. You can find a short preview of the coming features and changes below.
A new grouping function will enable you to create groups of explorers and send them out on missions as units after upgrading the Tavern to level 2. Groups are permanent and can be tailored to fit your needs, so you will save lots of time and clicks when sending out explorers once the initial set-up is completed.
In the same vein, a mass opening feature for loot boxes will make it easier for you to reap the rewards stemming from the efforts of your explorers, generals, and buildings.
Rounding out this improvement package is an adjustment to the Excelsior. Henceforth, you will be able to designate larger amounts of Crystal to be consumed at once, preventing more substantial investments from escalating into click orgies.
We will put out an announcement once the update is live on the test server and you can try out the improvements for yourself. You can find additional details on the forum.

Anniversary Event: Balance Changes
Dear Settlers,
As mentioned in our Anniversary Event 2026 Preview, we have taken this opportunity to take a closer look at some existing pieces of content that currently do not fulfil their potential and have little impact on your experience.
We have implemented some bug fixes and balance adjustments to make this content more interesting for you. These changes are set to come to the game alongside the event. For this particular balancing pass we have made changes to the Art Museum, Elder Tree Lighthouse, Coffee Shop, Stone Depot, Witch Coven, Retirement Village, Jewel Crafter Workshop, and Outdoor Canteen. You can find the detailed list on the forum.
You will be able to test these adjustments alongside the event on the test server. Feel free to share your feedback with us on the forum. The developers have shared some thoughts behind these changes there as well.

Anniversary Event: Preview
Dear Settlers,
The Anniversary Event is coming to the test server next week, so we want to give you a peek at the upcoming content before we start cutting the cakes:
The brightest minds of your military gather in the Command Centre to invent new tactics that can turn the tide of battle. The buffs produced here affect an entire island for a short time and will inspire your soldiers to do great deeds. Cannoneers supplied with Grapeshot can devastate the enemy lines with splash damage, while a classic Diversion transforms your Recruits into an insurmountable obstacle, buying time for other divisions to pull off crucial manoeuvres.
Establishing effective drills takes time, so it is best to protect your strategists from spying eyes by establishing a security perimeter using Watchposts. These support decorations increase the production speed of buffs in the Command Centre.
What else is necessary to do good work? A full belly, of course! The Cooking Supplies Wagon will help with that. This support decoration reduces the cooldown time of the Outdoor Canteen and increases the production speed of the Smokehouse.
If that is not yet enough for everyone to eat their fill, the Smokehouse Tribute will consistently produce Smoked Fish Steaks. It might be best not to ask for the recipe, though.
The Efficient Crossbowsmith will make your arms industry more sustainable. While unable to match the sheer output of regular Crossbowsmiths, these workyards require fewer resources to outfit your armies with the necessary equipment.
A third support decoration joins the fray in the form of the Blasting Cart. This structure increases the production speed of the Stone Depot and the Artificer Study.
But we are not only celebrating The Settlers Online in this Anniversary Event: The Settlers 2 turned a venerable 30 years old in 2026! Many of you will have great memories of this beloved entry into the series, and so do we. To pay tribute to The Settlers 2 and soak in nostalgic feelings together, we have prepared a thematic quest chain as well as a new skin for the Mayor's House.
Goodies galore await in the event calendar, including Premium Days, the Iron-Willed Geologist, the Granite Mason Tribute, and the Stone Depot. Thanks to an expansion of the event mechanics, you will get to collect Commendations and exchange them for items from previous Anniversary Events at the Merchant. To round things out, we took the opportunity to look at some existing content and polish it up a little in time for the celebrations.

Event start: August 10, 10:00 CEST |

Summer Event: Preview
Dear Settlers,
The Summer Event is coming to the test server next week, so we want to provide you with a quick look at the upcoming content:
High demand for trophies and medals to reward the participants of sports events is driving demand for ore of all kinds. Enterprising researchers have come up with a new ore refinement process to satisfy these needs. Using these techniques, the Industrial Ore Refinery can consume Industrial Ore Refinery Fuel to refine any ore put into its production line, outputting higher quantities of it. Establishing these production lines is a challenge, however, since know-how gained through adventures in all corners of the world is required to unlock this quantum leap in ore production.
Rich resource deposits remain the foundation of ore production, and that is where the Titanic Geologist comes into play: He discovers Titanium Deposits three times the usual size and additionally has the chance to find Titanium Ore refills as well as Titanium Hen Egg Laying Stimulant to enhance the Titanium Hen's production capabilities. Though he carries himself with the dignified bearing of a Greek statue, the Titanic Geologist is supposed to be quite hot-tempered. Witnesses report him shouting "Egg Laying Stimulant. We require Egg Laying Stimulant!" during his surveys.
Far removed from this industrial hustle and bustle, the Offshore Lighthouse is the perfect place to spend some relaxed summer days. This 2x2-sized residence can be constructed on water building slots and provides additional population capacity, daily Fish Shoal refills, and a cooldown reduction for the Elder Tree Lighthouse.
A good summer break requires adequate entertainment, and the realms of the continent are preparing just the thing: A prestigious sports competition pitting the best teams of each realm against one another to crown a champion. Having applied as a host for the games following some encouragement by your king, you are being roped into a brand-new event questline full of intrigue, corruption, and justice in which your decisions will be more impactful than ever before.
Speaking of competitions: The merchant has expanded his stock of Flowerbed Flags to offer Settlers a wider variety of countries to represent on their islands. The event calendar will once again provide you with goodies on every day of the event. You can grab a whole bunch of reading material to keep your specialists busy while sunbathing, stock up on Industrial Mines to kickstart your ore production, and choose between a Prospector Workshop and Jewel Crafter Workshop, both of which craft various buffs.

Investigation of Illegitimate Activities
Dear Settlers,
During the maintenance work done in the previous week, we have closed some old system vulnerabilities, which could be exploited to perform illegitimate activities in The Settlers Online by using unauthorised software.
We are currently investigating a number of noticeable accounts in this context to determine their involvement in said behaviour on an individual basis. Furthermore, we are currently looking into the potential impact of unauthorized software use on the stability of the game servers. Accounts that can be proven to have committed acts violating the rules with the assistance of unofficial software will be banned temporarily or permanently.
We would like to take this opportunity to stress that users playing TSO through unauthorised third-party software do so at their own risk and forfeit their right to receive assistance from our customer support. If damages are incurred by any party due to the use of unofficial software, the responsibility lies solely with its user. This includes impacting the game servers and therefore the accounts of other players. Since the risks of employing such third-party software are widely known, ignorance does not protect from consequences.

You can leave feedback and questions in regards to the test in the corresponding thread on the forum.

Easter Event: Preview
Dear Settlers,
The Easter Event is coming to the test server this week, so we want to give you a little preview of what to expect in regards to new content:
Hiding Easter Eggs across the planet is a complex task, which is why the Fluffy Butte Logistics Office is always busy with establishing the necessary transport network. This building produces a buff that can be applied to the residences of other players. Once you have produced and applied a certain amount of these buffs in cooperation with other players, you can kick off a chain reaction of zone buffs, which increase the rewards and experience points gained from adventures and quests. Like with any strong logistics network, great teamwork and timing are the keys to success.
Another basis for every successful logistics network is its storage system. The Depositorium is much more than a mere stockpile, however: Providing 70,000 storage capacity in total, it is a truly massive warehouse. Indeed, the Depositorium is so vast that things you forgot you even stored there in the first place regularly turn up. As such, you will receive a repeatable quest to search the building's stockpiles and find lost deposit refills. Upgrades will enable you to find refills for rarer resources such as Titanium and Saltpetre. In this way you can experience the thrill of the Easter Egg hunt all year long.
Inspired by the busy bees reviving nature every Spring with their hard work, your settlers can move into the new Honeyglade Residence. This building not only evokes Spring feelings with its buzzing visuals, but also provides a large amount of population capacity thanks to its innovative honeycomb structure on the inside. Both upgrades increase its population capacity by 160 for a grand total of 480. It is just a little sticky inside.
If Spring evokes your lust for adventure, you might want to join hands with Nora the Explorer. This horse-loving specialist dives head-first into the unknown to avoid dealing with a complicated past, which is why she completes adventure searches at double the normal speed. Because the journey itself is her primary goal, she is not exactly motivated to look for treasure and therefore completes treasures searches at only half the normal speed. Nora has a hand for getting herself into thrilling tales, giving her a chance to find additional adventures from the fairy tale category whenever she is out and about on long and very long searches.
The refreshed event calendar will supply you with various kinds of Easter gifts throughout all 25 days of the event. These freebies include the Diligent Geologist and Master of Defence as well as two members of the Demolition Crew. Fewer rocks make it easier to find Easter Eggs, after all.
|
Event start: April 02, 10:00 (CEST) |
We will let you know through an announcement when the Easter Event is live on the test server. Furthermore, we have prepared some additional details about the upcoming content on the forum.

Preview: Our Plans for 2026
Dear Settlers,
It is hard to believe, but we are already nearing the first anniversary of The Settlers Online coming under CipSoft's wings. This has been a challenging, educational, and satisfying time for us all at once. Digging into such a storied project as TSO and keeping it running at the same time is a bit like wandering through a labyrinth: Sometimes you hit a dead end and have to turn back, progress seems to crawl to a halt, and creating an accurate map to navigate by is a frustrating process that requires much effort.

Steps like the server migration, integration of MultiPayer, fixing historical issues, and the upcoming switch of the account system are not exactly exciting, but they are an important foundation for our future plans with TSO. To build this future, we have doubled the headcount of the developer team working on TSO since the takeover and are continuting to look for reinforcements. Of course, growth does not magically result in new content sprouting out of the ground: Onboarding new members and creating efficient structures consumes time and energy without leading to results that are immediately visible to you.
It is within this context that we want talk about our goals for 2026, the scope of which may appear rather humble to you. But what we want to avoid is promising too much, too quickly. We want to be realistic and take our time laying those important foundations, giving us the best possible starting point for the future.
In the wake of the account migration, we want to reactivate some existing functions that had to be disabled during the takeover phase and give the homepage a thorough rework. Aside from a more modern and user-friendly design as well as strengthened security, we are mainly aiming for performance gains in this area, which will be to everyone's benefit. The forum will remain as it is for now, though we are aiming to modernize it in the future.
You can expect the entire annual event calendar to play out as usual, though we will continue to sprinkle in some of our own flair to keep things fresh. In addition, we remain committed to fixing known issues and improving the game's performance. For example, we recently exorcised the tech demons possessing Brohmann, the Raider, making him usable without any danger to the contents of your star menus at last.
In regards to new features, we have put one of your biggest wishes at the top of our priority list: the mass sending of specialists. We are currently evaluating all the existing concepts and suggestions around this function and plan to make whichever we end up choosing the first new feature we develop.
When it comes to substantial additions of fresh content, we will have to ask you for more patience. Of course, that does not mean that we do not have a couple of smaller surprises up our sleeves that you can look forward to.
Thank you for your continued support!

Account Migration
Dear Settlers,
As part of The Settlers Online's transition to CipSoft, we have already announced a switch of the game's login system away from Ubisoft Connect to an account system dedicated to TSO in order to ensure secure and stable access to the game for the future. We have worked on this process over the past weeks and are now ready to take this step together with you.

We will start off with the United States of America on March 4, followed by all other territories on March 11. The homepage may be unavailable for a few minutes during the rollout between 09:00 and 09:30 CET. From that point onward, you will have the opportunity to migrate your TSO account from Ubisoft Connect to CipSoft.
We have made this process as seamless as possible: After logging in as usual by clicking the Ubisoft button on the login page, navigate to your profile on the homepage and select the option that allows you to migrate your account. Upon choosing this step, all you have to do is enter your email address and create a new password. After confirming your agreement to the terms of service and acknowledging the privacy policy, you will have successfully migrated your account and will be able to use it to access the game. We have prepared a step-by-step guide to this process in the forum. Once you have switched over to CipSoft's system, you will no longer be able to use your Ubisoft Connect account to log in and play TSO. Naturally, this will not impact your Ubisoft Connect account in any other way.
In case you are playing in several territories, be aware that you will have to migrate your account separately for each region. Please note that after the transition, the top bar on the homepage will once again display your player name if you are logged in, which could be different from the account name shown there now.
While logging in via Ubisoft Connect will remain possible for some time, the system will be completely decoupled from TSO in the future. We will give you a heads-up before the game becomes inaccessible through Ubisoft Connect, but we are kindly asking you to take part in the transition process as soon as you can to avoid any potential issues down the line.
We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding up to this point and, once more, warmly welcome you to CipSoft!

Valentine Event on Test Server
Dear Settlers,
Today, the Valentine Event has been deployed on the test server. There, you can already take a look at what is new before the event officially starts on February 12. Here are the dates for the event:
Event Start: February 12, 10:00 CET
Start of removal phase: March 01, 22:00 CET
Complete deactivation: March 08, 22:00 CET
With the Valentine Event, we will also implement the following changes:
- Quest "Story Time": Following the feedback, we have reduced the number of Adventure Tales required for this quest in the Aurora Tower. In addition to the 25 Star Shards, only 150 Adventure Tales are now needed instead of 300.
- Stargazing Geologist: Contrary to his description, the deposits found by the geologist were not twice as rich. This has been corrected so that he now finds deposits that are twice as rich.
- Shop Limit: The Witch Coven and the Retirement Village can now each only be purchased once, as originally intended.
- Buff "Sharpened Pickaxes": We have improved the buff, so that buffed buildings now require 67% fewer resources to produce the same output.
Have fun testing!

Valentine Event: Preview
Dear Settlers,
Next week, the Valentine Event will be available to you on the test server. Here is a glimpse of the new event content:
The bells are ringing in the new Wedding Chapel! Here, you can produce buffs that allow you to take part in three different wedding stories. Among other things, you can earn resources that are otherwise mainly obtained through adventures. However, wedding preparations take a bit more time, and adventures generate larger yields.
Find out if a dog truly is a man's best friend while uncovering a Platinum Vein. Support an entitled bride with a Mahogany Nursery, or assist an overzealous florist as you tend to a Sunflower Patch.
For those who don't want to wait too long at the altar, the Romantic Balloon provides the perfect flair to speed up the production of wedding stories in the Wedding Chapel.

The owner of the Chocolatier needs more room for sweets. The new Chocolate Depot not only allows you to store 20,000 goods, but it also increases the speed of the Chocolatier for a faster flow of chocolatey treats. When fully upgraded, it increases your storage capacity by 40,000. |
|
|
The Lonely Heart Inn provides space for 160 settlers to mingle and toast to better times together. At level 3, the lively spirit increases your population by 480 settlers in total. |

The Narcissistic General manages to only gather a very small troop as hardly anyone can stand her for long due to her excessive personality. She considers herself the greatest and is determined to outshine the Gemini generals. She brings back adventure stories from her victories. However, she leaves 80% of the experience points behind, convinced that there is barely anything left for her to learn. |
|
Moreover, we have extended the duration of the event to 18 days to give you a bit more time to enjoy the event:
|
Event Start: February 12, 10:00 CET |
Of course, we have expanded the event calendar to 18 days accordingly. Included in it are, among other things, the Lovely Explorer, Noble Bookbinder Tribute, and the Lovers' Statue.
We hope this preview gets you in the right mood for the upcoming event! From now on, we will continue to present new content as a teaser, a short preview in the news, without diving into specific details. Thereby, we want to build more anticipation around new content and leave more room for curiosity and personal discovery. These teasers will replace the previous detail-focused forum summaries.
Players who would like to explore the new event content more closely before the event starts will, of course, have the opportunity to do so in advance on the test server. A key part of The Settlers Online is also the direct exchange among players. Gathering knowledge together and sharing strategies and tips strengthens the bonds within the community and the cooperative spirit. In addition, fansites and the forum offer a wealth of information neatly arranged and are a valuable resource for interested players who want to look up details.
We will inform you via the news section as soon as the test server for the Valentine Event is accessible.

Thank You for a Special Year
Dear Settlers,
As the year draws to a close and the holiday season approaches, many of us are starting to slow down and take a moment to reflect. It is a good time to look back on the past months, since it has been quite an eventful year for The Settlers Online.
When CipSoft took over the development and operation in spring, a period of transition began for all of us, and with it also a time of getting to know each other. Step by step, we worked towards migrating the game and integrating The Settlers Online into our infrastructure, so that we can then fully focus on maintaining and developing the game further. Along the way, we had to overcome some obstacles and turbulences, but we made it together: The Settlers Online has successfully arrived at CipSoft.
Therefore, we would like to welcome you and The Settlers Online once again to CipSoft and thank you for your support. Your enthusiasm for the game, your openness, and your interest in its future have encouraged us. And your patience and understanding carried us, especially during the challenging server migration, when things did not always run smoothly.
As a small token of our appreciation, we have sent each of you a welcome package. Among other things, it contains three Royal Restitution buffs, which you can activate on your home island to grant yourself effects similar to the Prestigious Friend Buff for one day.
To collect the package, log into the game until February 02, 2026, 09:00 CET. We hope you enjoy it.
We are now looking ahead to a new year full of opportunities. We are determined and ready to focus more closely on developing the game, as well as on your wishes and needs, so that together we can preserve The Settlers Online as the special and unique place it is.
We wish you a wonderful festive season and a great start to 2026!

There are also no changes regarding available payment methods. Local payment methods can be found under aggregators such as Adyen, Paymentwall and Xsolla.
To celebrate this milestone, there is a Happy Hour until Sunday, November 30, 00:15 CET.
